Some forty years ago in Surinam, Chan Raghoober started to sell his wife's homemade curry to local shops. His business was so succesful that his four sons had to help pack each day after school. The family moved to the Netherlands in 1975, where they started Chan's on the 16th of juni, 1981, exactly 25 years ago.
